Can Tho voters contribute many ideas before the fifth session of the 15th National Assembly

(CT)- On May 19, 2023, the city's National Assembly Delegation met to approve a draft report summarizing voters' opinions before the fifth session of the 15th National Assembly. Mr. Dao Chi Nghia, Deputy Head of the Delegation in charge of the City's National Assembly Delegation, chaired the meeting; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Chairman of the City People's Committee, representatives of leaders of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and city departments, agencies and branches attended.

To prepare for the fifth session, the 15th National Assembly, the Delegation of the National Assembly of Can Tho City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and agencies and units in the city, held 10 voter meetings with more than 1,510 voter attendance. Thereby, 56 turns of voters participated in giving comments before the fifth session, the 15th National Assembly. In which, voters recommended the Government and central ministries and branches to pay attention to invest in a number of key transport and connection projects of the city; adopt management solutions for road registration activities in order to promptly prevent and prevent negative occurrences, affecting social order and safety; soon implement National Highway 91 bypassing Long Xuyen city through Thot Not district (about 5.3km in length) to reduce congestion, contributing to ensuring traffic safety for people participating in traffic; soon implement a high-speed railway from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho city to contribute to the socio-economic promotion of the locality and the Mekong Delta region. In the field of health, voters asked central ministries and branches to soon promulgate legal documents guiding the setting of prices for medical examination and treatment services upon request; Investing in medical equipment to serve the people's medical examination and treatment needs is guaranteed. City voters recommend the Government, central ministries and branches to have effective solutions in the prevention and combat of high-tech crimes; thoroughly handle fraud lines through social networks; continue to consider reducing bank loan interest rates and facilitate access to business support loan packages with preferential interest rates to continue maintaining operations through difficult times… Currently, through various means mass media people are worried when participating in life insurance and other types of insurance of non-state units and companies. Thereby, the city's voters proposed the Government direct relevant functional agencies to strengthen the management and guide so that people can feel secure to participate in various types of social insurance.

Mr. Dao Chi Nghia, Deputy Head of the Delegation in charge of the City's National Assembly Delegation, and the participants reached a consensus on the results of the general election of voters' opinions before the fifth session, the 15th National Assembly, and at the same time noted many opinions, The recommendations of the delegates contributed to the draft report for the city's National Assembly Delegation to summarize and send to the ministries, central branches and specialized agencies for consideration and settlement in the upcoming meeting.
