(CT) – On the afternoon of May 19, in Can Tho City, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho Youth Union hosted a meeting and launched the Liaison Committee of the Southwest Youth Union. About 50 delegates were former officials and employees of the Southwestern Union Zone through the periods, the youth volunteer forces (League 1 and Team 2), young volunteers R; teachers, teachers, students of Tien Phong School and officials of the Youth Union of Hau Giang, Soc Trang and Can Tho provinces attended.
The Southwestern Union Area Liaison Committee was introduced at the program.
At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the memories of the Union's work and the youth movement, the glorious tradition of the Southwest Youth Union in the resistance war to save the country. On this occasion, the Liaison Committee of the Southwest Youth Union was introduced, consisting of 13 members, led by Mr. Le Tri Dung, as Head of the Committee. The liaison committee is responsible for capturing information and taking care of teammates in difficult circumstances; coordinate with provinces and city unions to implement traditional educational activities for the young generation. Periodically, visit and embellish the traditional stele Route 1-C in Vinh Dieu commune, Hon Dat district, Kien Giang province, in order to educate the patriotic tradition for the younger generation.
